Hermanus Beach Wedding



We got married at sunrise on the beach in Hermanus.  I am sure this is every photographers dream
to wake up at 5am to take photos.  Ronel was there by my side with her calm, peaceful and
professional manner.  I did not even know she was taking photos the whole time!  During the ceremony
I was not aware of her at all.  Ronel has an ability to blend into the background and you just stand amazed afterwards
at the beautiful photo's she took.  After the ceremony we took some photos as the newlyweds.  Ronel was so much fun
and had great creative ideas for photos, and she was even able to make even the grumpiest family members smile. 
Devin, Ronels husband helps her with taking some photos and the two of them together are great fun
and a wonderful team.  I am very pleased and will recommend Ronel anytime for any occasion. 
Thanks to her we now have the most beautiful photos of our special day.  (Johannesburg)

If there is a couple leading by example with marriage than we would want a marriage that is definately like your's and Dev's. 
All my guests said that the people that only came to the reception missed a lot at the ceremony. 
Thumbs up for you Dev, your service was awesome, although I cannot remember much due to nerves.

We hope that someday we will have the opportunity to use your services again.

Russel and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the exquisite photographs
that you took on our special day.  It is our something that we will cherish and treasure forever.

Your work was so professional from day on.

When I enquired with you many months before the day, I emailed a few other photographers
as well that were recommended to us.  It was a difficult choice to make deciding who should be
our photographer for our
special day and not even having met you.  On the day you arrived and were so friendly,
felt like you were part of the wedding party and not the photographer at all.

On the beach you captured every part of the action...
the parts that we did not even get to see, the parts that we would have missed out on if it weren't for you.
The end result..... pictures worth a thousand words.  You can see that the photographs
taken were taken by someone with a love and passion for what they do and not just
a day to day job.  Maybe that is what made them so magical...

I have heard many brides complain about how long they had to wait to get thier photographs
from their wedding, but you sent them timeously and promptly without us having to wait months. 
When they did arrive, I can assure you, that you did not let us down.

Again we would like to thank you so very much for capturing our very special day
and for helping us show our friends and family who were unable to make the day, just how special it was.
Should we be down in Cape Town in about 10 years for the renewal of our vows, I can assure
you that you will be the first person on our list and I would recommend you to any future brides
as I know that there are many things to worry about on your wedding day, but you are most certainly not one of them.

When planning a wedding, the one thing every couple wants to be sure of is that they will have
a perfect record of the day.  The photographs are possibly the most important part of the wedding,
bringing back memories of the day which passes so quickly. 
Having known Ronel for a while, she was our first choice in wedding photographer. 
We found her to be very organised with the details and she took time to meet with us and find out exactly what we wanted. 
On the big day Ronel worked inconspicuously and quickly so that the guests did not have to wait too
long whilst we had photos taken.  We were often not aware that she was taking photos and she caught some lovely moments.
On returning from our honeymoon we were absolutely thrilled with the results and have
made several enlargements to remind us of the day.  All of the photos came out
perfectly and we were so pleased that we used Ronel for our special day.

Stellenbosch - Morgenhof



Right from the beginning, Ronel was incredibly sensitive to our requests even so much as
accompanying us to the venue beforehand to go over the ceremony and what we wanted. 
We had a tricky wedding in that it was in the middle of winter and it was in the morning,
with our ceremony starting at 9:30am, so Ronel was at my place by 6 am to start photographing!  Throughout the day,
Ronel was unobtrusive, so much so that sometimes I did not even realise that she was photographing! 
We also had a very large family gathering, so she was very flexible with our requests to have ad-hoc
family photographs taken.  Ronel was also really friendly and got on fabulously with everyone.
We left very soon after our wedding to move back to London, and Ronel really worked
hard to have our photographs ready by the time we left so that we could bring them back with us.
We were really happy with the final photographs, we felt that Ronel managed to capture the mood of our wedding perfectly.
